      OverviewINTENDED USE:

      Light Diagnostics Echovirus Control Slides are intended as reagent controls and may be used with Light Diagnostics Echovirus Blend (Catalog Number 3311), or Light Diagnostics Echovirus Type-Specific MAbs, i.e. Echo 4 (Catalog Number 3317), Echo 6 (Catalog Number 3312), Echo 9 (Catalog Number 3313), Echo 11 (Catalog Number 3314) and Echo 30 (Catalog Number 3315). A control slide should be tested with each specimen batch to ensure proper function of the reagents and proper staining technique.

      PresentationEach pack consists of five 10-well Echovirus control slides. Each slide has five positive wells, each containing cells infected with a different echovirus (echovirus 4, echovirus 6, echovirus 9, echovirus 11 and echovirus 30) and five uninfected (negative) wells.

      Slides are provided in individually sealed foil pouches containing desiccant.

      Minimal cross-reactivity can be observed with this product.

      Do not use slides past the expiration date printed on the label. Do not expose to elevated temperatures.

      Allow slides to come to room temperature prior to opening.


      Precaution: Etiological agents which may be present on these specimens have been treated to render them noninfectious. However because no method can offer complete assurance that all organisms are nonviable handle all control slides and materials coming in contact with them as potentially infectious materials. Decontaminate appropriately.
