Typical features include coarse, senile-appearing facies, dental and skin abnormalities, abdominal distension, and phallic enlargement. Inheritance is autosomal recessive. & Defects in INSR are the cause of leprechaunism [MIM:246200]; also known as Donohue syndrome.
