Utilizing a 50 μm diameter base bead and Merck’s proprietary tentacle technology for more effective binding of target substances, Eshmuno® CPX resin exhibits a high resolution and impurity clearance independant of scale and flow rate. Its high binding capacity and excellent pressure flow behaviour results in an outstanding productivity.

Excellent removal of mAb monomer/aggregate and impurities

The primary challenge for intermediate purification and polishing is the selectivity to remove impurities similar to the target molecule, such as aggregates and HCP, even at high loading levels. Eshmuno® CPX resin offers these features for different types of biomolecules and demonstrates efficient and consistent clearance of leached protein A and HCP.
