      3311, Echovirus Blend, IgG2a& IgG2b, 2.0 mL, Mixture of individual MAb's.

      * Echovirus 4 and thereby the Echovirus Blend may give some weak cross-reactivity with Poliovirus 1, 2 and 3 and some isolates of Coxsackie A9. It is recommended to test samples weakly reactive with Echovirus 4 or Echovirus Blend with Light Diagnostics Poliovirus Blend (Catalog No. 3336) to ensure proper identification. Echovirus 4 MAB may also cross react with some Echovirus 30 strains. Therefore isolates positive with Echovirus 4 MAB should also be tested with Echovirus 30 MAB. If the isolate reacts with Echo 30 the isolate can be presumptively identified as Echo 30. If the isolate only reacts with Echo 4 then the isolate may be presumptively identified as Echo 4.

Intended for in vitro diagnostic use in indirect fluorescence screening for the presumptive identification of Echovirus isolates obtained in culture.
