When Siam checks for residue after purifying waterat the bottling plant, he uses Microquant^® test assays. We tailor them to his extract thresholds,  so he gets precise results every time. And because they work right there on site, there´s no waiting for lab samples either.

Merck Millipore's colorimetric test kits offer variety and ease of handling. Each pack contains all the reagents necessary for the test and everyone can use them even without special chemical training. The high-quality and brilliant color cards decisively simplify the allocation of the samples to the stated values. This gives you more precise results in no time at all. Another unique feature is that we adjust our test kits and comparison colors with the aid of certified standard solutions. These can be traced back directly to primary reference materials originating from NIST und PTB. This enables us to achieve a consistently high quality standard of all our visual test kits. When stored at temperatures between 15 and 25 °C, the test kits remain stable for up to three years from the date of production. A further tip: take note of our practical refill packs. In this way you can use the color comparators over and over again – which reduce costs and is environmentally friendly.

 Aquamerck^®

The Aquamerck^® system is the specialist for water analysis in aquaristics, fish farming, limnology and in the environment. Furthermore, you can use it in school lessons. The Aquamerck^® product range comprises both titrimetric as well as colorimetric tests. Their handling could not be easier.

In the titration tests the sample is titrated until the color changes, with the number of drops consumed to the turning point or the scalar value read off from a pipette corresponding to the concentration of the tested parameter.

In the case of the colorimetric tests a color reaction is produced by adding reagents to the sample solution. By allocating the color to a color value on a reference scale the corresponding concentration can be read off.

Microquant^®

The Microquant^® tests are particularly suitable for industrial water, cooling and boiler water, turbid or colored water, e.g. wastewater, due to its light transmittance principle plus sample blank. The color comparator is made of stable plastic and can therefore be used in humid environments.

Microquant^® tests evaluate the color reaction according to the transmitted light method. This makes it possible to analyze even turbid and slightly colored water samples without any further sample preparation.

Thanks to the robust color comparator disk it is also possible to easily use these tests in industrial areas and in wet environments. The ten-stage color disk of the comparator is made of lightfast, and thus extremely durable, slides of plastic. Using the refill packs, the original test kit can be used for a very long time.

Aquaquant^®

Aquaquant^® test kits are especially suited for the analysis of drinking water, ground water, clean water and mineral water and in water production. The special feature of the Aquaquant® range lies in the measurement of low concentrations.

With Aquaquant^® tests, users can detect concentrations down to the ppb range. These specifically high measurement sensitivities are made possible by use of greater layer thickness and the special construction design of the Aquaquant^® comparator.

In the comparison method, the reaction color of the sample is compared with the colored blank sample using the color scale. This makes it possible to achieve an excellent match of color-comparison concentration.

The color cards are of particular importance here. The unique brilliance of the print and the fine color graduation enable precise analyses to be made, even at the lower end of the concentration range.

Compact Laboratories

Merck Millipore offers you compact laboratories for the determination of ammonium, carbonate hardness (acid-binding capacity), total hardness (and residual hardness), nitrate, nitrite, pH, phosphate, temperature, oxygen and oxygen consumption. For specific applications, e.g. water analysis in aquaristics, you receive the compact laboratories in a practical kit. These contain all important test parameters.
