Sangodiff® staining foil is used for manual staining of blood and bone marrow smears and can also be used in clinical cytological specimens for e.g. urine analysis, pleural effusions, ascites analysis and for sputum and sperm. The highly transparent foil is coated with a special preparation of modified staining solution. Staining is achieved simply by laying the staining foil on the smear. The staining result is identical to Giemsa’s staining. One pack contains 100 staining foils and 15 ml buffer solution. It is developed and registered as CE / IVD product for applications in diagnostics.
