Ion Exchange Chromatography
Ion exchange chromatography is the predominant chromatographic method used in the production of biological macromolecules. Compared to conventional resins, Merck Millipore’s tentacle ion exchangers Fractogel® and Eshmuno® improve the efficiency of process separations. Tentacle media provide a number of advantages, such as high capacity at high flow rate, high selectivity, high efficiency, and high recovery. They maintain the biological activity during purification and obtain a high yield. All Merck Millipore ion exchangers show excellent protein binding capacities at high flow rates and offer advantageous features for many production processes.
