Merck offers a special range of standards and reagents to satisfy all purity requirements. Trace analysis requires the sample to be available as a homogeneous solution. This is normally carried out by digestion with mineral acid and sometimes by melting with a fluxing reagent. For calibration CertiPUR® standards ensure the reliable basis for your result. Suprapur and Ultrapur acids contain virtually no impurities and are therefore ideal for sample preparation, as are the Spectromelt products for fluxing or grinding digestion for XRF analysis.
