A sensitive and specific fluorogenic assay for Granzyme B based on the QuickZyme™ technology platform where modified prourokinase serves as a substrate for Granzyme B. Cleavage by Granzyme B activates the urokinase and activity is determined with a urokinase substrate. Specificity is increased through the immunocapture of Granzyme B on the microtiter plate. Granzyme B is a caspase-like serine protease with proposed anti-apoptotic, antiviral, and antitumor functions.
