Native coagulation factor VII from human plasma. Factor VII is a zymogen initially converted, by an unknown mechanism, to active Factor VIIa. In a complex with tissue factor and membrane phospholipids, Factor VIIa proteolytically activates Factor IX and X to the enzymatically active Factors IXa and Xa.
