Recombinant, rat DARPP-32 expressed in E. coli and phosphorylated on Thr34 by cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). Acts as a potent inhibitor of protein phosphatase-1 (PP1; IC50 = 1 nM). It is dephosphorylated and inactivated by PP2A and PP2B.
