Native DPP-IV purified from human placenta. DPP-IV is a serine exopeptidase dimer composed of two identical subunits of 110-130 kDa. DPP-IV is involved in many cellular processes such as activation of cytokines, differentiation, and cell-matrix interactions. Inhibition of DPP-IV has been reported to be an effective treatment for type II diabetes. MW: ~220000-260000 (unreduced) Note: 1 MIU = 1 milliunit.
