The GST•Bind Fractogel® Cartridges are designed for rapid affinity purification of glutathione-S-transferase (GST•Tag) fusion proteins. Each cartridge is packed with 1ml GST•Bind Fractogel® resin. After binding to the glutathione immobilized on Fractogel in the cartridge, GST•Tag fusion proteins are gently eluted with reduced glutathione. The Fractogel resin is made of tentacle polymethacrylate beads that have a high mechanical and chemical stability. The GST•Bind Fractogel cartridges can be used with a syringe or as liquid chromatography devices under low or high flow rates and pressure up to 800 cm/h. Each cartridge binds up to 10 mg protein and can be reused up to 10 times without significant loss of capacity. The cartridges are provided in packages of 2 or 5.
