MMP-13 positive control supplied as concentrated conditioned cell culture medium from human tumor cells treated with IL-1. The product contains variable amounts of MMP-13 as well as other MMPs and TIMPs. Proteins of ~60 kDa and ~30-48 kDa corresponding to the latent and active forms of MMP-13, respectively, may be detected as well as other MMPs and TIMPs. Useful for immunoblotting standard and zymography.
