A 21-meric phosphorothioate oligonucleotide that targets the sequences including and immediately upstream of the initiation codon of NF-κB. Inhibits expression of the chloramphenicol acetyl-transferase (CAT) gene that is under the control of a NF-κB-responsive element in (NF-κB)3CAT, a NF-κB-responsive element. Reported to suppress both the constitutive and the TNFα-induced Keratin K6b promoter activity, which contains NF-κB responsive element.
