Useful for measuring protein kinase A (PKA) or protein kinase C (PKC) activity in crude cell extracts or semi-purified enzyme preparations. The assay kit is based on an ELISA method which utilizes a synthetic PKA/PKC pseudosubstrate and a monoclonal antibody which recognizes the phosphorylated form of that peptide. May be used for screening inhibitors and activators of PKA and/or PKC. Supplied with a user protocol.
