The Rosetta™ 5615 is a new
T7Select® Phage Display System host strain, closely related to the Rosetta host strain, available for recombinant protein expression. Rosetta host strains are Tuner™ derivatives designed to enhance the expression of eukaryotic proteins that contain codons rarely used in E. coli. These strains supply tRNAs for AGG, AGA, AUA, CUA, CCC, GGA codons on a compatible chloramphenicol-resistant plasmid. This new strain carries as ampicillin-resistant, medium–copy number plasmid, pAR5615, that expresses the native T7 capsid protein under the control of the lacUV5 promoter.
