The T7 Tail Fiber Monoclonal Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG2a) directed against the tail-fiber protein of the T7 bacteriophage. The antibody can be used to immunoprecipitate T7 phage or T7 tail-fiber from solution using an optimized immunoprecipitation GrabIt™-based protocol (Protein G Plus/Protein A agarose). Just 2.5 µg of antibody is sufficient to immunoprecipitate at least 1 × 1010 T7 phage. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml and is suitable for use with the T7Select® Phage Display System and the immunoprecipitation-based GrabIt™ Protein G Plus/Protein A Kit. Not suitable for
immunoblotting.
