Useful for the quantitative concentration of protein solutions as dilute as 10 ng/100 µl. Based on a proprietary Universal Protein Precipitation Agent (UPPA™ Reagent). Protein precipitation is not affected by the presence of detergents, chaotropic agents, or other common laboratory agents. Suitable for concentrating proteins for SDS-PAGE, raising antibodies, protein purification, protein assays, and other applications. This kit is not suitable for proteins which may lose their biological activities when precipitated. Sufficient to concentrate up to a total of 10 ml of dilute protein solution, and the medi kit is sufficient to concentrate up to 30 ml of dilute protein solution.
