Mixed Layer Plates (TLC)

 

Kieselguhr is a natural diatomaceous earth that can used for the separation of polar or moderately polar substance. Mercks mixed layer plates utilize a combination of classical silica gel 60 and kieselguhr providing good separation properties for inorganic ions, herbicides and some steroids.
