With more than 2,000 items labelled according to GHS, short for Global Harmonised System, Merck Chemicals has taken the lead across the industry. The new Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on GHS classification and labelling went into effect January 2009. The goal of GHS is to harmonise the various existing classification and labelling systems worldwide. This makes the communication of hazards and risks as transparent and easy as possible.

Merck’s new label set makes it easy to label all your solutions with GHS safety information. The set includes adhesive-backed basis labels, pictograms and signal words. Record information about your mixture, such as ingredients, production date, etc. on the basis label. Add the appropriate pictograms and signal word. The accompanying guide helps you choose which ones to use.
