Sample Preparation for Chromatography
In order to be able to utilize the possibilities offered by chromatographic analysis, the sample must be optimally prepared. Selective and specific sample preparation ensures rational, economic and meaningful analysis. Analyte enrichment can increase the detection sensitivity of the detector by a factor of 100 to 5,000. Merck has developed the Extrelut® sorbents and columns for liquid-liquid extraction and the LiChrolut® sorbents and columns for solid-phase extraction. LiChrospher® ADS represents the third line of products for sample preparation, namely LC-integrated on-line sample preparation.
