WideScreen® BeadPlex™ for the Luminex® xMAP® Platform
The WideScreen® Multiplex Assays use xMAP® Technology for the detection of biomarkers and signaling proteins. Using a familiar sandwich immunoassay format, dye-labeled xMAP microspheres are used to create assays for the detection of multiple analytes from the same reaction, resulting in savings in sample, costs, and time. Samples are combined with coded xMAP microspheres covalently conjugated to a capture antibody. After incubation, analytes captured by the beads are identified with detection antibodies and a fluorescent label. Signals are detected on a Luminex instrument, which uses dual lasers to identify the bead and the fluorescent signal from the label.
WideScreen xMAP Assays have a number of important advantages over traditional ELISA or Western blot analysis.
Better Results - Quantitative analysis of proteins from a single sample in the same well.
Better Performance - Using trusted and established xMAP Technology, WideScreen Assays are extensively validated and tested to ensure optimal performance and reproducibility.
Save Sample - WideScreen xMAP Assays typically require less than 10 µl of sample.
Save Time - Parallel analysis of proteins from the same sample means a faster time to data.
Save Money - Combining assays not only saves time, multiplex assays typically cost a fraction of the price of comparable number of ELISAs.
