Corrosive burns caused by hydrogen fluoride, hydrofluoric acid or inorganic fluorides can be fatal if the poisonous effects of fluoride ions are not treated. Not every physician has the necessary specialist knowledge. Therefore, all important instructions are contained on a passport the size of a credit card which everyone, who comes into contact with these materials, can have on them.
