      OverviewThe Q-Gard® 3 purification cartridge removes ionic and organic contaminants down to trace levels when fed with deionized (DI) water containing high silt. This cartridge optimizes the performance of downstream purification media to ensure consistent results. It contains a microfilter for particulate removal, activated carbon for organics adsorption, and mixed-bed ion-exchange resin for ion removal. The cartridge can be used with Milli-Q® Academic / Biocel / Element / Gradient / Synthesis water purification systems.
