Using a combination of theory and hands-on instruction, workshop and participants will understand the key principles and techniques involved in the development and optimization of normal flow filtration processes. This training candidates on the knowledge and skills to prepare and perform normal flow filtration operation. This course covers normal flow filtration from small scale to pilot scale in biopharmaceutical process.

  • Advanced topics in optimization, design and operation of NFF

    (Set up, Flush, equilibration and operation Steps of small scale)
  • A Practical Guide to Vmax for NFF Filter Sizing
  • Workshop : Optimize process by right filter selection
  • Interpreting the test results from practical Session

  • NFF operation and Scale-up
  • Practical Session #2: Operation and filtration of Pilot Scale
