Anti-Integrin beta 6 (ITGB6) Antibody

beta 6 knockout mice have been immunized with recombinant secreted human alpaVbeta6.

Anti-Integrin β6 Antibody, clone CSβ6, azide free detects level of Integrin β6 & has been published & validated for use in FC, IP, IC, IH.

Immunohistochemistry (acetone fixation): Effective for Rabbit, rat, monkey, and human. Not effective for mouse tissue.

Immunocytochemistry: Effective for F6, HT-29, H441 cell lines (others not tested).

Flow cytometry: Effective for all species tested, including rabbit, rat, monkey, human, and mouse.

Immunoprecipitation

Monoclonal antibody MAB2076Z, raised by immunizing beta6 knockout mice with recombinant secreted human alphavbeta6, is useful for flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation in all species tested, including mouse. It also works well for immunohistochemistry of acetone-fixed tissues in several species, including rat, rabbit, monkey, and human. The antibody does not work well for immunohistochemistry of mouse tissue. This antibody does not recognize the aV subunit and does not react with alphaV integrins other than alphavbeta6. Because the antibody is not effective in western blot, it is unknown whether the epitope recognized by the antibody localizes to the alphavbeta6 heterodimer or to the beta6 subunit only.
