Applications
Key Applications Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay
Immunoblotting (Western Blotting)
Immunohistochemistry
Application NotesELISA (see comments)
Immunoblotting (1:500)
Immunohistochemistry (1:10,000)
Application CommentsThis antibody has also been reported to work for ELISA. For blocking immunoblot membranes, use ONLY 4% goat serum or evaporated goat's milk. For immunohistochemistry, a 1:10,000 dilution of the reconstituted serum demonstrated specific staining of rat brain sections including olfactory bulb glomeruli, cortex layer 4, cortex layers 2 and 3 (dendrite staining), cortex layer 5 (apical dendrite staining), and the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus (diffuse staining in the molecular layer, punctuate staining in the granule cell layer).
