We are pleased to announce the newest member of the Viresolve® Pro Solution family – Viresolve® Pro Shield H, a membrane-based adsorptive prefilter that is used in conjunction with the Viresolve® Pro Device, providing you with unmatched viral clearance.
Adsorptive based prefiltration used in line with the Viresolve® Pro Device has been shown to offer more robust, economical clearance of parvovirus from a broad range of challenging feedstreams. With our new Viresolve® Pro Shield H, impurities in high pH and conductivity mAb feed streams are removed, reducing fouling and significantly increasing the capacity of the Viresolve® Pro Device while preserving high parvovirus removal and flux.
We recently hosted a webinar on this topic, “Optimizing Viral Clearance Filtration: Enhancing Performance with the Use of Adsorptive Depth or Surface Modified Prefilters” in which we provided guidance on the proper selection and use of prefiltration across several technologies for optimal operation of high performance virus filters. A look at the underlying mechanisms of virus filter fouling and prefiltration will provide the background for making rational decisions in process development and optimization.
