Custom Premix Selecting "Custom Premix" option means that all of the beads you have chosen will be premixed in manufacturing before the kit is sent to you.
ELISA (see comments) Immunoblotting (1-5 µg/ml) Paraffin Sections (0.5 µg/ml)
Application Comments
For ELISA, this antibody can be used as the capture antibody; recommended concentration is 10 ng/ml, 1 µg/well, 100 µl total volume. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.

Application
ELISA (see comments) Immunoblotting (1-5 µg/ml) Paraffin Sections (0.5 µg/ml)
Application Data
Detection of mouse PAX7 by immunoblotting. Sample: Whole cell lysate from NIH3T3 cells. Primary antibody: Anti-PAX7 Mouse mAb (1E12) (Cat. No. DR1094) (1-5 µg/ml). Detection: chemiluminescence. Detection of mouse PAX7 by staining paraffin sections. Sample: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human stomach tissue. Primary antibody: Anti-PAX7 Mouse mAb (1E12) (Cat. No. DR1094) (0.5 µg/ml). Detection: colorimetric (DAB).
Description
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~60 kDa PAX7 protein.
Background
This protein is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of this family typically contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. These proteins play critical roles during fetal development and cancer growth. The specific function of the paired box 7 gene is unknown but speculated to involve tumor suppression since fusion of this gene with a forkhead domain family member has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
