      Description
      Overview

The HSV•Tag® Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1) that has high specificity and affinity for an 11-amino acid peptide derived from Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) glycoprotein D. The peptide is encoded by the HSV•Tag sequence in appropriate expression vectors and by the Positive Control 36mer in the Novagen NovaTope® System. The purified antibody produces a strong signal at a 1:10,000 dilution on Western blots (Sakai 1996), dot blots, and colony lifts when used with the Novagen Anti-Mouse IgG AP Conjugate.
