Eshmuno® S is a strong cation exchange resin, designed for fast, efficient purification in direct capture of rec. proteins and post-protein A steps for mAbs. Eshmuno® S has a superior binding capacity compared to other modern cation-exchangers. With Eshmuno® S, you achieve superior productivity and maximum performance in your downstream purification of monoclonal antibodies.

Like all other Eshmuno® IEX family members, Eshmuno® S resin combines a tentacle structure for more effective binding of the target molecules with the advantages of an innovative hydrophilic polyvinyl ether base matrix. This combination allows the use of much higher flow rates while the biomolecule is still strongly bound by the tentacle.

Efficient HCP removal
One advantage of using Eshmuno® S resin is its high selectivity for the biomolecule of interest. Eshmuno® S resin efficiently removes host cell proteins, resulting in greater purity compared to traditional chromatography resins.
