      BackgroundDuring apoptosis, PARP is cleaved between amino acids Asp214 and Gly215 to yield two fragments of ~29 kDa and ~85 kDa. This cleavage site is conserved in human, bovine, and chicken PARP. This antibody, and Cat. No. 512738, can be used to discriminate between the necrotic versus apoptotic cleavage of PARP.
