      Applications
      Key Applications Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay
      Immunoblotting (Western Blotting)
      Immunoprecipitation
      Application NotesELISA (0.05 µg/ml)
      Immunoblotting (1 µg/ml, colorimetric; 0.1 µg/ml, chemiluminescence)
      Immunoprecipitation (1-10 µg/10⁶ vanadate-treated A431 cells)
Application CommentsRecognizes phosphorylated serine residues that are followed by a C-terminal lysine or proline. Note: phosphoserine detection by monoclonal antibodies is always dependent on the surrounding amino acid sequence. Use BSA for membrane blocking and antibody dilutions, do not use milk/casein. For immunoblotting use 5 µl (chemiluminescence) or 20 µl (colorimetric) per lane (mini gel). Recognizes either -Ser-Pro- or -Ser-Lys- sequences that have been phosphorylated on the serine residue. Reacts with human, mouse, rat, chicken, frog, zebrafish, tobacco, maize, arabidopsis, yeast, and bacterial proteins containing phosphoserine. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
