Chromolith® monolithic HPLC columns Tutorial

This tutorial shows:
  • the handling of Chromolith columns,
  • the use of Chromolith guard columns,
  • the coupling of two or more columns together, and
  • the easy connection of Chromolith columns to any HPLC instrument.
Merck offers an extensive product range, including a flexible choice of column hardware - each optimized according to specific application requirements:
  • Hibar® RT is the classical ready-to-use HPLC column hardware for simple direct connection to every HPLC instrument.
  • LichroCART® cartridges in combination with the manu-CART cartridge holder provide the most flexible solution for standard HPLC needs.
  • Hibar® HR columns are designed and optimized specifically for use in UHPLC.
  • SeQuant® ZIC®-HILIC columns are made of PEEK, thereby ensuring full bio-compatibility.
  • Chromolith® columns are each made of one continuous piece of monolithic silica, cladded in a PEEK housing.
