Fluorescence Dyes: Quality and Variety
|
Fluorescence microscopy is often used for live cell imaging. The technique is also valuable for the detection of bacteria, chromosomes, cellular components or antigen-antibody reactions/interactions in clinical specimens of human origin. Staining clinical material with fluorescence dyes facilitates diagnosis, since relevant structures are exposed more prominently when examined under a microscope.
Our portfolio of dyes for microscopy includes several high-quality fluorescence dyes with a variety of wavelengths for different filter combinations. Our complete range of products is available in a wide choice of package sizes to suit all requirements. Furthermore, every fluorescence dye is a CE -certified IVD product.
Rhodamine B
Rhodamine B is a dry dye used for fluorescence Tb staining of bacteriological smears and histological tissue sections of human origin. The method is based on non-specific binding of fluorescence dye on a substrate, similar to the classical Ziehl-Neelsen method, however the heating of the Rhodamine B color solution can be avoided. Our Rhodamine B dye is a CE-certified IVD product and offers constant dye content and consistently high quality to ensure reproducible diagnostic results.
Fluorescein-5-Isothiocanate (FITC)
In immunohistology and immunocytology, fluorescein-5-isothiocyanate (FITC) serves as a fluorescent marker for microscopic visualization and detection of tissue-bound bio molecules such as antigens, lectins, proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, oligo- and polysaccharides in samples of human origin. FITC-marked antibodies bind specifically to the appropriate target structures in the tissue. An optimum FITC-to-protein (antibody) ratio is important for accurate results.
