Jessica Reiner is a group leader and research chemist for the Biochemical and Exposure Science Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where she leads research on determining chemical concentrations in various media to understand exposure pathways. Her work focuses on improving analytical measurements of emerging chemicals by developing reference materials and methods. Under her leadership, the group's research portfolio includes key focus areas such as multi-omics measurements and aquaculture. The group provides essential measurement science, standards, and data for environmental and human health, develops and certifies reference materials, and works with stakeholders to improve and harmonize measurements globally.
