General description
Centrin-3 is critical to microtubule-organizing center structure and function. Centrin-3 has been linked to cell cycle, cell division and mitotic processes and is localized in the centrosome of interphase and mitotic cells.
~19 kDa observed. Uncharacterized band(s) may be observed in some cell lysates.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Centrin-3.
Application
Detect Centrin using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-Centrin-3 Antibody validated for use in western blotting, IP, ICC & IHC.
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A representative lot from an independent laboratory immunoprecipitated Centrin-3 in MDCK cell lysates (Koch, A., et al. (2010). Mol Biol Cell. 21(2):219-231.).
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A representative lot from an independent laboratory detected Centrin-3 in MDCK cell lysates (Koch, A., et al. (2010). Mol Biol Cell. 21(2):219-231.).
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A representative lot from an independent laboratory detected Centrin-3 in HeLa cells (Klein, U. R., ad Nigg, E. A. (2009). J Cell Sci. 12(Pt18):3312-321.).
