General description

Jumonji domain-containing protein 2D (JMJD2D) is also called Lysine-specific demethylase 4D and JmjC domain-containing histone demethylation protein 3D. JMJD2D is a histone demethylase that specifically demethylates both di- and trimethylated H3 ′Lys-9′, but not monomethylated histone H3 ′Lys-9′ residues. JMJD2D also does not demethylate histone H3 ′Lys-4′, H3 ′Lys-27′, H3 ′Lys-36′ or H4 ′Lys-20′.
~58 kDa observed. Uncharacterized band(s) may be observed in some cell lysates.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human JMJD2D.
