Neuropeptide S receptor (NPSR) is alternatively known as G-protein coupled receptor 15. NPSR is a multi-pass cell membrane protein that functions as a vasopressin/oxytocin receptor in the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. As a receptor for neuropeptide S, it is thought to mediate its action, such as inhibitory effects, on cell growth.
