General description
Delta(3,5)-Delta(2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase, mitochondrial (ECH1) is a member of the enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase family. ECH1 is involved in isomerization of 3-trans,5-cis-dienoyl-CoA to 2-trans,4-trans-dienoyl-CoA as part of the fatty acid beta-oxidation and lipid metabolism pathways.
