Biochem/physiol Actions

This antiserum recognizes biglycan preproprotein (368aa), probiglycan (349aa), as well as the mature biglycan (331aa). This polyclonal antiserum is also known by LF-112, LF-15, and LF-51.

Rabbit polyclonal antibody serum with 0.05% sodium azide.

Preparation Note

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.

Analysis Note

Evaluated by Immunohistochemistry in human skin tissue.

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:200 dilution of this antibody detected Biglycan in human skin tissue.
