General description
Endosialin is a glycoprotein on the cell surface of vascular endothelial cells in a broad range of human cancers. Endosialin is thought to be highly expressed at the points of active tissue remodeling and neovascularisation which may imply that endosialin is key in tumor growth, angiogenesis and metastasis. Endosialin has structural similarity to CD93, which involves a C-type lectin-like domain, EGF-like repeats and a glycosylated mucin-like domain. This similarity may also suggest that endosialin plays a role in innate immunity and inflammation.

Application
Detect Endosialin using this Anti-Endosialin Antibody, clone B1/35 validated for use in WB, IP, IF, FC.
Flow Cytometry Analysis: A previous lot was used by an independent laboratory in FC to detect Endosialin in rheumatoid fibroblasts (MacFadyen, J. et al. (2005). FEBS. 579(12):2569-2575).
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A previous lot was used by an independent laboratory in IP on AG1523 human fibroblasts (MacFadyen, J. et al. (2005). FEBS. 579(12):2569-2575).
Immunofluorescent Analysis: A previous lot was used by an independent laboratory in IF to detect Endosialin in human rheumatoid synovium, tonsil, salivary gland and normal breast tissues (MacFadyen, J. et al. (2005). FEBS. 579(12):2569-2575).
