The variability of the IgG pool is generated by somatic recombination and the number of specificities in an individual at a given time point is estimated to be 10¹¹ variants.

Affinity Chromatography

Purified by affinity chromatography. Liquid in 50mM Tris/1mM MgCl₂/50% Glycerol, pH 8.0, containing 0.1% NaN₃ as preservative.
