General description
GST-tagged recombinant internal fragment from the C-terminal half of human PAFAH1B3.
~30 kDa observed. 25.73 kDa calculated. Uncharacterized band(s) may appear in some lysates.
Specificity
Clone 3E4.1 detects the alpha 1 subunit found in the heterotrimeric type I intracellular PAF-AH. The alpha 1 subunit was originally named the gamma subunit (Arai, H., et al. (2002) J. Biochem. 131(5):635-640; Hattori, M., et al. (1993) J. Biol. Chem. 268(25):18748-18753).
Application
Epitope: Internal (C-terminal half).
Physical form
Purified mouse monoclonal IgG2bκ antibody in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.
Preparation Note
Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
Analysis Note
Evaluated by Western Blotting in K562 cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 0.5 µg/mL of this antibody detected PAFAH1B3 in 10 µg of K562 cell lysate.
