General description
Recognizes the ~200 kDa VEGFR-2 protein phosphorylated at Tyr1054/1059 in porcine pancreatic cells transfected with a CSF-1/mouse VEGFR-2 chimeric receptor.
Preparation Note
Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C).Avoid freeze/thaw
Other Notes
The immunogen sequence is 100% conserved in human and rat VEGFR2, but reactivity has not been tested. The corresponding phosphorylation site in VEGFR3 is 100% conserved, but cross-reactivity has not been tested. When used at a 1:1000 dilution there is sufficient antibody for 10 immunoblots at 10 ml/blot. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems.
