General description
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~45 kDa WIPI1 protein.
Recognizes the ~45 kDa WIPI1 protein in PC-12 cells.
This Anti-WIPI1 Mouse mAb (3C1) is validated for use in Immunoblotting for the detection of WIPI1.
WD40 repeat proteins are key components of many essential biologic functions. They regulate the assembly of multiprotein complexes by presenting a β-propeller platform for simultaneous and reversible protein-protein interactions. Members of the WIPI subfamily of WD40 repeat proteins, such as WIPI1, have a 7-bladed propeller structure and contain a conserved motif for interaction with phospholipids.
Immunogen
A recombinant polypeptide corresponding to amino acids 348-446 of human WIPI1, expressed as a GST fusion protein
