Biochem/physiol Actions

Recognizes the cytoplasmic tail of CD4. Many functions have been assigned to this tail, including anti-viral regulation (down/up regulation of CD4), T-cell maturation, activation and differentiation, and Lck signal transduction, among others. This antibody is useful as a control for studies involving targeting of intracellular protein domains of T cells.

Purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in 0.02 M phosphate buffer, 0.25M NaCl, with 0.1% sodium azide.
