General description

Triton™ X-100 は、一般的な非イオン性の界面活性剤であり、タンパク質の可溶化を必要とする生化学アプリケーションにおいてしばしば使用される乳化剤です。非変性の、比較的マイルドな界面活性剤であると考えられており、日常的に添加される試薬として、多くの文献に報告されています。タンパク質や細胞内小器官を抽出するための細胞の可溶化に使用されます。また、トランスフェクションのための、生細胞の膜透過処理にも使用されます。
