General description

塩化ナトリウムは、ヒトや動物の正常な身体機能を助ける必須の栄養素です。この化学物質は自然界に広く存在し、静脈内輸液や密度勾配などのさまざまな生化学的用途があります。また、緩衝液や培地のイオン強度を高める希釈剤としても使われます。塩化ナトリウムは、血漿浸透圧および体の細胞外液量の維持に極めて重要です。NaClが過剰になると血圧が上昇し、心血管疾患や腎臓病に影響します。滅菌NaClは点眼液の成分です。多くの細菌は高塩濃度の条件下で増殖できないため、従来から高濃度で食品の保存に使用されてきました。

Application

塩化ナトリウム溶液は、以下の成分として使用されています：
  • 二重タグ化生成物の精製用ポリエチレングリコール（PEG）緩衝液
  • プロテインAセファロース（PAS）抗体コーティングビーズの調製およびリボ核タンパク質（RNP）の免疫沈降用NT2バッファー
  • マウス腎臓からの単核単離用の冷却溶解バッファー
